Thanks to our Color Mix concept, Kenton Cool created a home sparkling with the natural reflections of the Parmelan mountain. Reminiscent of a mountain pine forest, the wooden Murphy colour brings a sublime touch to the matt black kitchen.
Kenton Cool was not only thirsty for an adventure, but thirsty full stop. That is why we designed an ingenious rainwater harvesting system specially for him. Whenever the heavens open, the rain fills up a water tank connected to the sink.
To allow Mr Cool to cook and get his strength back between climbs, we have incorporated two heating elements adapted to the mountain environment by cutting out two 13 cm-diameter circles in the worktop.
You will not see any laminate or stainless steel splashbacks here. To let the full beauty of the setting shine through, we kept our splashbacks as simple as possible. In other words, we used the rock of the mountain.
To immediately find his utensils, we have equipped the drawers with modular dividers. The extra detail, the spice rack integrated in the drawer: labels are easier to read when jars are laid on their side.
Hold your breath and discover how we made our « Vertical Home » in eight thrilling episodes. From designing the project through to fitting in the most extreme conditions.
